The Richland Library is hosting a new guitar group. The Richland Library is hosting these Guitar Jam sessions on the second and fourth Wednesday of September.

Swap songs, build your skills, and enjoy listening to and playing guitar in an informal  ‘jam-style’,” said Library Director Dennis Kreps.

These jam sessions happen at 7 p.m. next to the large fireplace on the first floor. These sessions happen in a “jam style.” This means that everyone will get together and jam out. Attendees can share their music and find new songs.

“I am so happy that there is now a group that gets together and simply just jams out,” said Gull Lake senior Delaney Cermak, a top student in the Gull Lake guitar class. Finally, there is a group nearby that is just focussed on jammin’ out.

This group is for anyone, no matter what age. As long as you enjoy guitar, you are welcome. There is no cost to come and join the group. As long as you have a smile and some guitar skills, come and join on the second or fourth Wednesday at 7 p.m.
