Gull Lake JV basketball has had a rough start to the season, going 0-2 against Otsego and Loy Norrix. The Otsego game was very close with Gull Lake coming up short 55-54 in the end, while the Loy Norrix Game was less close.

Colton Dingman is a sophomore power forward on the JV basketball team this year.

“We haven’t been playing as good as we hope,” said Dingman. “I think we’re getting better every game and will start to win more.”

The JV team only kept 2 of its 5 starters from last year, meaning there has been a lot of change in the team.

“The team has a changed a lot since last year, meaning that taller guys like me have to play in the post more than usual,” Dingman said.

Thee next game is away at Battle Creek Central.

My name is Nicholas Tracy and this is my second year on the newspaper staff. This year I am the chief editor of the newspaper.  I enjoy writing generally, so taking newspaper allows me to expand the number of ways I can write. I like to write all articles, but prefer sports and movie reviews generally. I also play soccer on the Varsity soccer team here at Gull Lake.
