About Me: I’m a junior at Gull Lake High School. As an amateur author, I have a vested interest in creative writing and enjoy writing most types of articles, especially reviews and opinion pieces. I eat dry cereal with only my tongue like some kind of Yoshi barbarian. I hope to have a chance to fully develop my own writing skills while working on the Reflection.
|Cheryl Jolin is the adviser of The Reflection and Gull Lake High School’s yearbook publications and has been for 16 years, in addition to teaching English, Writing for the Press and AP Literature.

About Me: For the 2017-2018 year, I have assumed the position as Video Editor and Business Coordinator for The Reflection. The majority of articles that I write pertain to the feature and entertainment side of The Reflection, including opinion, point-counterpoint, and review articles. I have been involved with The Reflection since Sophomore year and while I don’t plan to pursue journalism as a career, I cherish the experience and memories that the class and paper has granted me.
Ryan McMullen, a third year staff member, seasoned sports writer and contributes to all other departments.
About Me: I am the Sports Editor of The Reflection. I mainly write about football and basketball with a few miscellaneous articles here and there. I have won honorable mentions for my articles and this year I hope to win first place this year and win another Spartan Award for The Reflection.

About Me: I’m a senior and an OG student journalist (meaning I did it last year), but seeing as I love all things writing and current events, I figured I ought to combine the two and earn my journalism-legs. I tend to write what I’m passionate about (don’t we all), which includes art, social issues, politics, entertainment, etc. My articles are primarily features and opinions. (Update: They’re still features and opinions. Everything I write turns feature-y. Help.)

About Me: I write a lot of opinion articles and cheer articles, along with odd end ones. I spend most of my time with the marching band, practicing for color guard. In the winter, I am on the competitive cheer team at the school. I spend most of my Fridays performing with the band at the home football games. I love drawing and participating in school events.
