Grad Bash fundraisers underway

0 votes

Grad Bash is an event that occurs just after the seniors graduate on June 7. Seniors who choose to participate are shuttled off for a fun and safe celebration.

Every year, parents of the graduating class form the Grad Bash Committee to raise money to make this event possible for everyone to participate.  The fundraising money helps with the transportation, food, facility rental, entertainment, activities, prizes and gifts.

“As a GL tradition, the graduates will be shuttled off to a secret location to share unimaginable adventures together, free of alcohol and other temptations for the entire night and into the next day,” said Mindi Carr, parent of graduating class student. “Their destination and what they do is a highly guarded secret known only to a few parents on the Grad Bash committee.”

Many fundraisers that have taken place already, and more are on the way. The fundraiser lineup includes inquiries for donations from various businesses, apple pie sales, wood painting sessions, bottle/can drives every month, raffles, dodgeball tournaments, and many more.  These fundraisers are essential for Grad Bash to take place.
