Khakis rule school’s halls and students’ closets

You wake up and get ready to go to school. It’s Monday, and you did laundry on Sunday so that you can wear your best pair of pants to class today. You open your drawer and see three pairs of pants: khakis, jeans, and sweatpants. You don’t hesitate for a second, and reach for your khakis. Here’s why.

Khakis are the most flexible type of pant. They can be casual and formal at the same time. Jeans are always going to be informal, and so are sweatpants. However, with khakis, one can quickly transition from a casual look to a formal look just by adding a belt and throwing on a nice shirt. Khakis are always a staple in the formal fashion industry.

Khakis are also the most dependable type of pant. They don’t have a extraneous designs on them, making them a constant and reliable fashion type. Nobody looks at a pair of khakis and questions the color or design like one would a pair of jeans. A pair of jeans can have very strange designs and pockets, while khakis maintain the simple, but classy color throughout.

It is almost impossible to find a favorite pair of jeans. There are so many styles of jeans that, when you go to buy a pair, you spend over two hours trying to find a one that’s the right color, the right fit, and the right fabric. Unlike jeans, khakis are easy to navigate. There are a set amount of shades and sizes that are found at a retailer. With khakis, you have a certain style you like and search for. Jeans, on the other hand, have so many possibilities you can’t have a true jean style.

Sweatpants and jeans are obviously very comfortable but aren’t really appreciated by the business world. Khakis certainly are a standard in the business world. The only time jeans are worn is when the company declares “casual Friday.”

Khakis are the best looking, and most comfortable pant out there.

khakis are ugly & when every guy in our school wears them, they become unoriginal & reflect a lack of style direction
