The popular Mexican fast-food restaurant has announced that they are changing their menu. According to Taco Bell’s website, the items leaving the menu include the Double Decker taco, chips and salsa, Cool Ranch and Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos, and more. Along with removing a variety of items, the restaurant is reorganizing the layout of the menu. There are new combos with new numbers to order them with.
“For example, for those of you who only order the 3 Crunchy Taco Supreme Combo #3, your new favorite number is #1,” the Taco Bell official website said.
The menu changes took place on September 12, so be ready to order things a little differently next time you go to the restaurant. There seems to be a lot of mixed opinions about the new changes.
“I personally don’t really eat there, but I know a lot of people who love the Doritos Locos Tacos so I think that’s going to be one that people get angry about,” said senior Grace Wright when asked about what she thinks of the changes to Taco Bell’s menu.
Taco Bell is a student favorite for many since it’s quick, easy and less costly than a lot of other restaurants. The menu changing may make the ordering process easier for some and more difficult for others–especially if their “usual” order has gone missing.
“I didn’t even realize that this was happening, so I think when people start to notice they might be upset,” Wright said.
Like it or not, the taco tide has turned and those who dine there may have to change up the way they “Live Más.”
