Apple release iPhone 11 Pro

The new iPhone is out.  Apple released its new smartphone, the iPhone 11 Pro on September 20. This is the 18th iPhone that Apple has released since June 29, 2007, when they came out with the first-ever iPhone and since 2007 Apple has sold close to 2 billion smartphones. Last year Apple held an 11.8 percent market share of all smartphones worldwide making it the number three best selling smartphone.

Recently, however, Apple has experienced a decrease in its smartphone sales. This could be due to their multiple competitors such as Samsung, and Huawei. The other possible reasons for low sales could be because of the durability of Apple’s iPhones that allows customers to use the same iPhone and not have a need to purchase another.

So what does Apple do to attract customers and increase iPhone sales? Well, they come out with a new iPhone that has a few cool and new to iPhone gadgets. The iPhone 11 Pro has a 15 percent longer battery life and the first-ever triple camera system with plenty of other surprises. That’s right a triple camera system.

“It definitely looks weird, but the pictures are good quality,” sophomore Madeline Phelps said.

Better quality because the Ultra-Wide Camera has a 13mm focal length, a 5 element lens, a 120-degree field of view, 12 MP sensor, and can capture 4x more scene. The Wide Camera has 26mm focus, a 6 element lens, optical image stabilization, 100 percent Focus Pixels and a new 12 MP sensor. The Telephoto Camera has a 52mm focal length, optical image stabilization, 2x optical zoom, and 12 MP sensor that enables this new iPhone to take slow-motion selfies, videos, or shoot in 4k.

But that’s not all that these cameras can do. Now there is Night Mode on all three cameras that allows for low light shots. Also, when taking a photo, the intensity of light can be controlled just like in an actual studio.

Unlike some DSLR cameras, the iPhone 11 Pro’s cameras can automatically fine-tune detail in both the subject and background. Another plus to this Pro is that it has the highest quality video on any smartphone.  After filming a video one can edit it just like a picture. For all this and much more the iPhone 11 Pro is priced at $999.

With so much to offer will the iPhone 11 Pro help Apple to see an increase in their iPhone sales?
