ARTS and EATS is an annual show in Michigan where well-known, and smaller artists share their work and move around the state discovering smaller towns. This is ARTS and EATS ninth year venturing around Michigan and our small town Richland will be a central venue in their tour this year.
According to the website, Arts and Easts state: “We want to raise awareness and appreciation of the region’s human and natural resources. This tour reminds us of the benefits of buying and consuming locally grown foods.”
There will be one location in the center of Richland, at the Area Community Center, along with another location in Barry County at the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary. They will be at the following locations on October 19 and 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be free admission to the bird sanctuary on the 19 and 20 if you are coming for the festival.
If all goes to plan, there will be ten artists at the festival, and numerous restaurants and farmers that will have their own food to show and try.
ARTS and EATS will be an awesome place to buy some new art pieces and get a bite to eat from our local farmers and restaurants.
