Girls basketball season begins soon
Basketball season is starting up next week with last year’s winning season in mind and one oddity: This year, the has no seniors playing. The varsity team will only be sophomores and juniors.
Varsity player, Mackenzie Ford played last year and made varsity as a freshman. She has been playing since she was young.
“I’m excited about the season but haven’t been able to practice because of volleyball,” Ford said.
“Last year was very exciting,” she said.
Ford said she will be playing throughout high school and enjoys the game.
