As a child, you don’t have to worry about a thing. This goes for Ms. Hudson. She lived in South Coldwater, Michigan right next to the lake. All she did was worry about what different activities she was going do in the water. The only thing she did in her free time was going in the water, and she said the only thing she wore in the summer was a bathing suit. Her favorite memory as a child was meet Donald Duck at Disneyland when she was 5 years old.

As a child, all her time that she spent in the water was doing something like boating or tubing. She grew up not having to worry about what she was going to do.

In high school, Hudson did cheerleading for four years on varsity and volleyball for one year.

Birthdays were a big thing in Hudson’s family so she grew up wanting to be an event planner she then changed her mind and wanted to be a lawyer. She said she was in denial about being a teacher. Her English teacher told her she would change her mind when she grows up.

She would work at the college and would teach students and that made her change her mind and want to be a teacher. Hudson had her whole life put together since she was a child. She said she planned it out after that: to go to Western Michigan University for college and become a teacher.

That is what she did, she became a teacher just like her teacher said she would, AND she went to the college of her dreams. She knew in her mind she was going be a teacher, but she didn’t want to believe it.

When she started subbing, she realized she really did want to be a teacher. She subbed for years and loved it. She decided to be a teacher and came to Gull Lake.

She now has been a teacher for 10 years. If there is anything Hudson could do over, she said would want to start teaching sooner or take accounting in high school. There was a student in the class that was really smart and could teacher Hudson a lot of things she didn’t know. She could become friends with her and become a teacher sooner.

The person that impacted Ms. Hudson’s life the most is her mom.

Ms. Hudson has been teaching for 10 years. Her favorite part was teaching kids new things to students. Her least favorite part of teaching is lesson planning. Husdon said ̈lesson planning takes a lot of work and time ̈. Teaching is hard. Making lessons and making sure she knows what she is teaching at the right time and is on time for everything. She makes sure all of her students are doing the right thing and learning what they should be.
