Kalamazoo winter Art Hop 2020 switched to virtual
Art Hop is a showcase of art from people all over Kalamazoo and other nearby areas. Art Hop provides a way for artists to display their works and for people to participate in creative events all in one area.

Art Hop will occur virtually on November 6 at 5 p.m. on the Art Hop Facebook page. Those who attend are encouraged to “like and share the artwork and participate in the discussion with artists and art enthusiasts by commenting on the posts,” according to the Kalamazoo Arts Website.
Those who still want to submit their artwork to Art Hop for November may do so until October 16. Submissions will be accepted for the December Art Hop display through the Kalamazoo Art Hop submission form. The December Art Hop will take place on December 4 at 5 p.m.

“Art Hop is a free-of-charge, fun-filled evening of art exhibits and events in and around Kalamazoo. It takes place the first Friday of every month,” said the Kalamazoo Arts website (K.A.W.). Exhibits from all around the greater Kalamazoo area will be on display at the listed time.

Due to the Corona epidemic, 2020 Art Hop is now virtual. People who wish to join can scroll through virtual galleries with art work from multiple young artists from West Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, and Kalamazoo Valley Community College.
Art Hop is free and available on the Kalamazoo Arts website and the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo’s Facebook page. The Art Hop event “takes place the first Friday of every month,” K.A.W. said. More information and details about the December event can be found at the Art Hop website under the December 2020 event section.
