I enjoy writing about current events along with taking photos. I hope to grow not only as a photographer and a writer, but as a person through the experience on the newspaper staff.

My name is Caleb Taylor, and I am a senior at Gull Lake High School. I play both basketball and track and enjoy them very much. Some of my hobbies include spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, and working out. I feel like I am very active in our community and the events that happen, so I thought it would be fun to join newspaper and write about them.

Hi, my name is Camrynn Sanders, and I am a sophomore at Gull Lake High School. I enjoy spending my time outdoors adventuring and dancing at a nearby studio. I also like to paint and write stories, which is a huge role in why I joined newspaper. I enjoy writing about nature and the beautiful memoirs the Earth holds. I have three older siblings who also attended Gull Lake and graduated as I also plan to do.

My name is Emerald Nicholls. I am 15 years old and a freshman at Gull Lake High School. I love to write and tell people about what happens around me. I joined newspaper because I wanted to follow in my grandmother’s footsteps. When she was young she always wrote for Omaha Nebraska’s newspaper, and I haven’t seen her since I was little due to her passing. I want to continue my grandmother’s legacy through newspaper and possibly become a journalist someday.

Hi, I’m Liberty. Yes, like the car insurance. I’m a sophomore at Gull Lake I joined the newspaper because I thought it would be fun to try something new and to be a part of something that I could invest my time and interest in. Although I’m not the best writer, which is another reason I wanted to join, I like to think of myself as someone who has an open mind and can see everyone’s opinion at a different angle. I hope being a part of newspaper will enhance my writing capabilities and that I will slowly improve with the amount of practice I’ll get.
