Veterans Day is an American holiday to celebrate and honor all veterans who have served in the United States Military. Every November 11, the country comes together to show gratitude for the willingness to serve and the sacrifices the veterans have made.

The Gull Lake High School’s chapter of National Honor Society held a Veterans day drive to support the VA hospital in Augusta, Michigan. Members of the National Honor Society donated personal care items and a coloring sheet for the veterans at the hospital.

Senior and National Honor Society historian, Jack Markillie, helped deliver these personal care items to the VA hospital.

Markillie and the National Honor Society helped honor the veterans who had made countless sacrifices for the country.

“The whole experience was very eye-opening. They were so grateful for all the donations, and it shows that the NHS Veterans day drive tradition needs to be continued,” Markillie said.

  1. Is Supreme Leader Eastman still deleting articles that make him upset?

  2. Does freedom of speech advocate Don Eastman approve of this article?
